For a long time now, there have been rumors of Apple planning to release the newest set of Apple Macbooks in this year. According to previous reports, Apple has been looking to release a new set of Macbooks which will feature some very special upgrades within July. Specifically, the company has initially stated that the new bigger versions of their previous series of Macbooks, the Retina Macbook available in 12 inch screens, will have bigger screens of 15 inches and 13 inches. It was rumored that this set of Macbooks would release by July and replace the Macbook Air, but no official release date or announcement has been made Apple regarding this matter.
In recent times, reports have come out stating that the company is still preparing these new Macbooks and the machines will be available to the public by the end of this year, most probably late in the second half of the year. According to the reports, the new Macbooks will not only be much thinner than its predecessors, but will also carry a special type of hinge introduced in this series of Macbooks.
Using a technology known as the metal injection molding, the company has created a special form of hinge design which will allow the company to make the Mac Book much thinner than presently available in the market. The reports further state that the main suppliers for this particular hinge design and its technology is a company named Amphenol. It has also been found out the Amphenol is currently also the supplier of various Surface Tablet components for Microsoft. Another question which remains unanswered is that while the company market the latest Macbooks as new series of machines or as bigger versions of the Macbook Retina?
