The acquisition was for 50 million dollars in cash and 45 million dollar will be earning option depending on the growth targets and the achievements of Jaybird (The newly acquired headphone making company by Logitech).
The acquisition of the company’s has been confirmed too on the company’s blog. In a press release after the official completed formalities, Logitech explained that the takeover happened to explore the avenues in headphone market. Rory Dooley from Logitech further said that they always wanted to create the best possible user experience for their users. They are excited to work with their newly acquired business and looking forward to define user experience up to great depth. In recent years music industry has changed a lot.
