Recently Facebook held its annual developer’s conference. This is the yearly conference where Facebook team joins in to share their overall work experience of the last year and they share their upcoming plans. What have they been working upon and what do they expect to implement during early year or in the short period of next five to ten years of time. Facebook disclosed that they have been working upon live streaming videos and they plan to make Facebook more interactive by including this facility for the users. The feature will be much similar to Snapchat which will allow users to discover most trending live videos from their account. Facebook is also implementing their live API platform for drone maker DJI as their launch partner. This will allow developers now to directly integrate live platform of Facebook into their apps.
Facebook messenger is said to be receiving a tons of the updates in the near future. In the F8 conference Mark clarified about his moves on including new updates on his Facebook messenger which will be rolled slowly this year or early next year.
Facebook is also said to be working upon and launching of bots for the business profile. It will allow businesses to send automated messages to the people coming over chat with inquiry, most of the times a potential lead is lost due to unavailability of an operator on chat. In order to kill such instances Facebook will be launching their business bots which can be easily integrated in their websites for their chat feature. Last but not the least will be the 2 factor authentication process for the Facebook login feature. Now the users can directly use their phone number and an SMS will be sent to verify the user’s identity and login directly. It will help users to punch in email id every time into their browser.
