The Apple News App is now been taken by the company to the one place where news always seem to start and then spreads. Twitter which has always been known as the starting point for any news now has the @apple news handle which is especially dedicated for the job. Though it was a feature that was inactive all this time, Twitter is yet to verify it. Roger Rosner, Eddy Cue are some of the execs of Apple that follow that particular twitter account which is also considered to be the property of Apple officially. The first tweet was also shared recently which let people know where they could go if they are looking for the top stories and even some good blogs from their favourite publishers.
As per the report of 9to5Mac, a job listing had been uploaded last summer to hire people for the Apple News app. They were responsible to select the stories that was going to be featured in the app. Recently the company has officially started the promotions of the special section called the editorials pick with the 9.3 versions of the iOS update. It also seems to be that the company is planning to take things to another level wherein they will use Twitter as a way to drive the attention of people to the News app on IPad’s and iPhones.
In the section of Top Stories, is located right above the section called For You. The For You section is an especially dedicated section wherein a person will get various kinds of updates based on what they are following. The section in Top Stories consists of handpicked stories from various sources even if you are not following them; this is one thing that makes the News app better since it can present happening stories on a timely manner.
