A few days after the special annual event Apple had, the company is looking to launch the new Apple iOS version 9.3. As everyone knows, whenever the system of a certain Apple device is updated from a lower version to a higher version, there remains a chance of losing the existing data. Thus, it is quite important to make a backup of all data on any iOS device, be it iPad, iPhone or iPod, before one plans to update their system. The two basic ways to create backup is to either use iTunes, or create a backup file in iCloud.
In the case one wants to back up their data in iCloud, the very first step is to create an account. If the user already has an iCloud account, the phone automatically creates a backup of the data in the storage. The only condition is that the iPhone or iPod needs to be kept in charge and locked along with an enabled Wi Fi. In order to check if the backup has actually been created on iCloud, one needs to follow these following simple steps:
· Connect via Wi Fi and open the iCloud section from settings.
· Check if the iCloud backup is on. If not, one needs to manually turn on the iCloud and create the backup.
To create a backup using iTunes, one first needs to connect the Apple device with the Mac. By turning on the iTunes software and enabling the data backup section, one can easily create the phone backup. In this case too, the internet should be kept on to create a complete backup. This process can be fulfilled on both the Mac Book and any personal computer. In case of a Mac, the iTunes is already installed, but in case of a personal computer, the iTunes needs to be installed separately.
