Carmakers seem to have all the capacity that is needed so that they can cater to the needs of Apple. They are now turning to the company so that they can make the complex business sound more sensible. This was said at a show by Sergio Marchionne to Journalists. He further went on to say that the idea of the Apple car is self made was compared to it being an illness.

He said that if the company had the urge to make cars, then he would suggest that they lie down and let the feeling pass by. He went on to say that such kinds of illness comes and goes and a person can recover easily since these sorts of illness are not lethal.

It is said that Apple is presently working on the development of their Electric Car, which has been in news for some time now and is said to be launched in 2019 or 2020. It is also said that in order to get the car manufactured, they may need to partner up with another company especially since there is a complexity, scale and cost is really high. However the design though is said to be without any k kind of external help. It is believed that one of the partners that the company could time up for its manufacturing purposes could be BMW. It is also said that there have been talks going on between the two companies.

The recent interview of Tim Cook, the CEO of apple did not directly acknowledge the fact that the company is working on the development of the Electric Car which goes under the name of Project Titan. It is also believed that the company has a lot of people who is working on this concept. This is said to be more of a constitute exploration instead of a commitment.
