As per the US patent No. 9277309, Apple is now the proud owner of the patented new headphones created by the company. This is a special type of headphone which allows the user to not only get wired audio transmission, but also wireless audio transmission through Bluetooth. In simpler terms, this is a wireless device which can also be attached to any media object using a wire. This particular device looks mainly like a regular normal earphone, with a main lead wire which braches off into the two ear buds, one for each ear. With this particular object, there is a simple change in the design. Here, there is one system which consists of the ear buds and a joining wire like a traditional headphone. The second sub system includes a single wire connecting this listening system with a single device which hosts the listening system.
One of the main sections and technological advancement in the new earphones created by Apple is the inclusion of an attachment mechanism powered by a magnet. This particular attachment is able to connect not only with the ear plugs and the connecting wires to transmit audio, but also enables the host to recharge its battery. Moreover, the toggling between wired mode and wireless mode is quite smooth and automatic. As soon as the ear bud cords get detached, it sends a signal to the host, which instantly stops the charging and toggles the earphone from wired mode to wireless mode. This headphone is a game changer for Apple users. Now, with this 2 in 1 system, one has much more freedom and maneuverability over the headphones.
With the next release of the iPhone, Apple is rumored to include a lightning type connection for the headphone and not the traditional 3.5 mm jack it formerly sported. All will be found out this fall, when Apple will finally release the model.
