Logic Pro X is one of the most reputed applications used by musicians to record their music. We all know that for any song, the music management is the most important part. One needs to set and edit the instrumental parts exactly right in order to have a great recording. Another important part of any song is a solo part. Though Logic Pro X is used by many, there are still some areas of the application which are not properly ventured by its users. Out of the features, the Solo mode is one of the features not ventured.
Here are some of the main sections of the Solo mode and some of the tricks to use them. ·
Toggling between Solos in two tracks
This specific feature mainly allows the user to jump back and forth between two solo tracks in close intervals without a lot of fuss. One can simply select a section of music from the main window or the track page, and press the Ctrl + S in order to make them Solo tracks. ·
Editing Legato sections
One of the most basic edits done in music editing is managing the MIDI notes. To get the crisp effect, often one has to manually edit the MIDI notes and cut of their tails and heads, but all of them with a mouse. Logic Pro X has a number of special features which help to do the work much quicker than manually handling all the notes. One very useful command in Logic Pro is the Shift + / command. One can use the Force Legato function, which actually stretches a selected section of notes till a certain region. This actually helps one to have uniform note placement and helps in easy editing. These are two of the best features of the Logic Pro X.
