Steve Jobs was one of the greatest entrepreneurs of all time, giving the world a company like Apple and the technology the products are made off. Starting with the iPod, the Mac Book and the iPhone, Apple has never compromised with quality of their products. The actual death of the former CEO of Apple, Steve Jobs, came as a surprise and grief to all. Many thought that Apple would crumple as no one was deemed responsible enough to keep the company running, but the present CEO, Tim Cook is doing a wonderful job.
Recently, the official biopic of the main man behind Apple released in theatres, but did not get the expected response from the general public. On the other hand, the critics liked the biopic quite a bit and gave good reviews about it. According to the critics, the movie was very well directed and the screenplay was quite good. Moreover, the critics said that the director got the actual essence of the life of Steve Jobs and created the movie as an approximate mirror image of the same.
At the present, for everyone who had not had the experience of watching the biopic, or also for the people who had chosen not to go for the movie in theatres, here is an opportunity to see it. As of now, the official biopic of Steve Jobs, as made by Sony Pictures is now available in DVD’s as well as Blu‐Ray Discs. Moreover, many can download the movie from iTunes too, since it was made available there since last week.
Michael Fassbender, the face behind the main character of the biopic, was rumored of getting an Oscar for his extraordinary performance but it is something that still needs to be seen. Till date, some of the major people involved with the movie have got some recognition in the movie world. Kate Winslet, who had played the role of Joanna Hoffman, was awarded the BAFTA award for her wonderful performance. Moreover, along with Winslet, Aaron Sorkin also got a Golden Globe Award for screenplay, as the former won the award for best supporting actress.
All in all, it is movie worth watching and with it now available in iTunes as well as DVD’s and Blu‐Ray discs, one should definitely watch it.
