The San Bernardino Case has apparently mad Apple. Inc a target in its own way. Donald Trump had a lot to say to the company pertaining to their refusal of unlocking the phone that was used by the accused. In his recent interviews which Business insider noted, he went on to comment about the fact that the company was not allowing the phone to be unlocked. He even asked what the company thought of themselves.
This comment was made pertaining to the recent comments that Tim Cook, The Company’s CEO made which was posted in the form of an open letter on the same day. In that Cook made a vow to oppose the court order that was released to the company in connection to the iOS’s compromised version. This order was sent out so that the team which was investigating the terror attacks on San Bernardino could get some kind of assistance.
The interpretation of the letter that was written by Cook was rejected by Trump. Donald went on to address the company directly stating that this was just the case, where, the company should lend a helping hand to get the hidden information that was stored on the phone. He further went on to say that it was really important that the facts should come out into the open as what and why things happened. It will also help to know if there is any additional involvement of people.
As of right now, it is still a question if the company could comply to the order even if it was possible. The reason behind it is the fact that the device that is under the spotlight is already locked and encrypted. Even though the phone is iPhone 5c’s older version, the same level of security and the advance features of cryptographic, which is found in iPhones today, is not present on the phone
