During the recent times, the users of Apple pay were facing problems linking their Visa card. There were even reports that the services has been down recently due to the glitch that was being faced only with a few Visa card holders. The mobile wallet of Apple was preventing the setting up the registration of users who had visa cards.

Apparently users who had other credit and debit cards like Discover, Master card and American Express were not facing such a problem. These users were easily able to link their new cards with the service without any problem or glitch. This problem was only being faced by users who wanted to link their Visa credit or debit card with Apple pay. Though some Visa card holders were able to link their cards prior to February 11, 2016, on that particular day, a few users did face a little problem.

The problem started on Wednesday at 4:15 ET and the company also did acknowledged the same. It was said that this problem was going on for around seven hours. There were a lot of posts that were floating around about the problem that was being faced. After uploads about the issue was flooding the internet, the company did manage to go ahead and resolve the problem.

It was also believed that the problem was not from the company’s end however it was believed that it could have been a problem from Visa’s end. Even in the midst of this problem, some Visa card users were not affected as there were also reports of payment transactions that were being made by Visa card holders. This issue was the first reported to the first of its kind and eyes are still being kept to ensure that this problem has really been resolved completely or not.
