The streaming service of Apple TV was first reported last year by Mark, the service has been placed on hold as there is still a requirement for the user to log on to the service with the use of their cable networks if they wish to unlock most of the TV network content. It is also said that the plans to deliver fully fledged services is ending up into a dead in. John Skipper, the president of ESPN sports network stated that the negotiations between Apple is getting frustrated with the television network providers as the negotiations are not going as planned.
While the negotiations between Apple and ESPN are still going on, however as of right now it is not going anywhere. Skipper stated that the reason for the frustration with the ongoing conversations is due to the fact that there is a level of frustration due to the ability to get something that can work for both the coders and the company. Apple has been trying to get the streaming service up and ready for quite some time now. The company wants to provide their customers the ability to subscribe to the channels that they like. The idea has been around for quite some time now.
Apple wants to provide various kinds of services which includes on demand services, live TV services and other such services that is similar services that is an alternate service from the regular and traditional services that are provide by satellite and cable providers such as DirecTV, Time Warner Cable etc. Word has it that even if Apple launches a service that is really good, the battle will not be easy for them to win as satellite and cable companies have a very firm hand on most of the TV viewers along with various other factors that revolve around the challenge that Apple will face.
