Owners of the Mac Pros manufactured in the later edition of 2015 have had some problems when it came to the videos they got on their Macs. Some of the various problems they faced were:
- Series of distorted videos.
- Absence of videos.
- Instability in their Mac systems.
- Various untimely restart and shut downs of their systems.
- Systems didn’t start up properly.
All these problems were seen mostly in the series of Apple Mac Pros which were manufactured between 8th February, 2015 and 11th April, 2015. The good news for these owners is that they can now get this problem fixed by Authorized Service Providers of Apple or Apple themselves. Moreover, this particular service done to their systems will be absolutely free till 30th May, 2018. Apple claims that their turn-around time will be simply 3 to 5 days, max.
According to Apple officials, for any Macs showing any of the above problems, both the graphics card units have to be changed in order to solve it. They claim that the D700 GPUs (which is built to order) and the AMD’s FirePro D500 (which are high end models) get affected and thus needs to be completely changed.
All the customers or owners need to do is visit any of the Authorized Apple Service Providers or get appointments with a Genius Bar found in any of the Apple Stores to know if their system is eligible for a free fix. Unlike the previously launched call back of faulty AC adapters, Apple has chosen not to announce this particular new on their official support website. In turn, they plan to connect with the customers personally and directly.
Apple has not confirmed about the customer list that had been affected, neither the sales list of the faulty Apple Mac Pros making it quite difficult to understand the actual list of affected users. On the other hand, Apple has actively fixed the systems of various affected users and is still at it.
