The rumors have been there for quite some time that the tech giant Apple will launch a new streaming service for all TV content,a service similar to a TVMovie edition of the Apple Music, but at present it looks like the much rumoured Apple TV service will not be releasing in the recent future.
A December 2015 report from the Bloomberg News claims that the company is putting the plans of this streaming service on a hold because the content and cable companies and the networks are reluctant to such an idea. It may be that the company may scrap this idea, and focus on the ‘‘tvOS’’ platform. Still, there have been numerous rumours that suggest that this streaming service may be launched in 2016,with only being released in USA.
There has also been rumors which say that the Apple TV unit may be in the mood to buy HBO. HBO is home to Game of Thrones, and is a part of this acquisition of the Time Warner group. Some think this may be a move to buy the Time Warner Inc. This deal would be including HBO,HLN,CNN,TBS,TNT and also the Cartoon Network.
