Apple Pay launched in Hong Kong

Apple Pay, an attractive way to pay your bills is already available in eight countries and regions and after France, it is being launched in Hong Kong also. Apple hinted about this launch of payment mode beforehand in WWDC but now only the users in Hong Kong can utilise this.

The Apple Pay in Hong Kong can be supported by various cards from various banks. Banks like HSBC, Hang Senk, DBS, Standard Chartered and Bank of China are issuing American Express  Cards, Visa and Master Card through which one can avail the facility of Apple Pay. American Express can also issue direct cards to support this Apple Pay.

It is expected that in near future, the Tap and Go cards and Bank of East Asia in Hong Kong will also extend their helping hands towards this mobile payment system just as it has reached various other new banks in the US regions.

Compatibility

Apple Pay is in sync with all the devices by Apple. Those are: iPhone 6S, iPhone 6, iPhone 6S Plus, iPhone 6 Plus, Apple Watch, iPhone SE, iPad Air2, iPad mini 4 and the two iPad Pro models.

One can easily set the Apple Pay app in the iPhone. You just need to open the Wallet app, tap the plus icon present in the right corner and then follow the given prompts. In order to add credit or debit card on the Apple Watch to Apple Pay visit your Apple Watch app in the iPhone, look for Wallet & Apple Pay section and then go to the ‘add Credit or Debit Card ‘ section. Dealing with Apple Pay is hassle free and now the people of Hong Kong will also be able to enjoy this app through Apple’s devices.
