BitStrips Acquired By Snapchat for 100 Million USD

Bitstrips has been acquired by Snapchat. The startup is planning to create Bitstrips for the users now. Bitmoji will be a combination of the Bitstrips and the emojis. The idea is new and company is currently working on it to get it available for the app users. The acquisition of Bitstrips happened somewhere in March. The confirmation was given on July 19th by Snapchat about the acquisition of the Bitstrips. The idea behind Bitmoji is to enable the users create their own cartoon emojis. The animated versions of the personalized avatars can be easily shared with the other users.

People have reacted positively on the idea of launching Bitmoji. They are calling the app integration of Snapchat and Bitstrips as a match made in heaven. They are all excited for the moment and it is a win-win situation for both the companies now. Earlier the users could only share stickers with others on the platform however now the union of both the companies will allow them share the next version of the personalized sticker on app. A user can literally click his/her selfie and bring it into stickers for others. Snapchat is currently catering to 10 million registered users worldwide. After the formal announcement of the app integration Snapchat has seen a rise in the curve of fresh acquired registrations from new registered users. Bitstrips was acquired for 100 million dollars by Snapchat. The company was earlier skeptical about the deal however now the deal looks like a steal deal.

The confirmation about the launch of the Bitmoji is not done yet. The company says they are currently working on developing them and also trying to figure out their way to integrate the feature in their app. The update should be sooner available for the users, till then keep waiting and stay updated.
