Apple iWatch 2 Expected To Be Launched In September

After the success of the Apple iWatch now Apple is going to launch the second version of their wearable device. There are multiple rumors again surfacing the launch of the Apple iWatch 2. DigiTimes reports that the next gen watch from Apple is expected to be featuring the “One Glass Solution technology. The One Glass Solution will be eliminating the single layer of the glass.

The traditional display in the iWatch consists of two pieces of glass however the OGS(One Glass Solution) will be replacing one layer piece of the glass. This will be allowing Apple to eliminate some extra space. It will be also affecting the overall weight of the iWatch. TPK Holding says that the official production of the OGS panels for the second generation of the Apple watch 2 has been interrupted due to some technical reason. The reason is not clear and it will be also affecting the second generation of Apple watch production.

The major losses for the company are basically due to the discontinuation of the touch panel orders of the iPhones. It has decreased continuously. Apple is planning to change the technology behind the panels to OGS (one glass solution) from G/G. The Apple watch 2 is expected to be launched in somewhat middle of the 2016. There are only minor changes rumored to be featuring in the Apple watch 2. The change in the specs will be also very minor for the watch this time. Some of the possibilities include a faster processor for the device with improved battery and cellular connectivity hopefully.

The Apple iWatch 2 is expected to be launched around the Apple iPhone 7. The expected dates for the debut of the Apple watch 2 will be somewhere around September 16, 2016. The preorders for the device shall begin after September 9th.
