Apple iPhones Recently Crossed the 1 Billion Mark

iPhones have become the world leader now. They have created successful products which are creating history in the world altogether. Apple has managed to make the iPhone a part of the daily life of us now. Last week another milestone was crossed by Apple. The company successfully sold the 1 billionth phones in the market. Tim Cook thanked everyone (employees and customers) which have been a part of the journey for them. Tim Says Apple is striving to make a mark on the world. They want to create a difference by making Apple reinvent technology.

Apple iPhones Recently Crossed the 1 Billion Mark

The sales of the iPhones in the third quarter us now at 988.15 million. It was anyways very close to crossing the mark of 1 Billion anyway. Apple sells 40 million phones each quarter, for the Q4 the reports of 48 million shipments were released in the market. The earning from the iPhone in 2016 were reported to be 15 % lesser than the last year. The overall revenue of the Apple iPhones has fallen by 23 percent year by year. Tim Cook highlighted the launch of the iPhone SE very successful. Cook pointed that India is a very promising for Apple. They are likely willing to expand in Indian market. The sales of the Apple products in India (specifically the iPhones), has risen by 50 percent year on year. Apple has also faced higher sales of their products in Turkey, Russia and Japan in the third quarter. Apple has also observed the trend of the switches from Android to iOS.

Recently iPhone 7 has been launched and Apple is likely interested in tracking their sales for the iPhone units in Indian markets. Tim Cook claims iPhone 7 to be a very promising device. Though aesthetically there is not much difference between the iPhone 6 and 7 however Apple claims to add a lot of features to it.
