For Mac users, the beta version of the BitTorrant has been launched officially just a week after the BitTorrant Now was launched on Apple TC and iOS. If you are not aware of what it is about, the BitTorrant Live is a proprietary technology of the company which is used for streaming. It was launched after a long time of development earlier in the year.

When it comes to peer to peer technology, presently the BitTorrant Now doesn’t use it, however, the full advantage of this technology is taken by the BitTorrant Live. With this technology, the need for a deliver system of expensive content reduces when it comes to streaming websites and networks.

Once a mac user downloads the BitTorrant Live app, the service can be activated either by creating an account or logging in to their existing account. This can be done by logging in to the official website of BitTorrant.

Presently on Bit Torrent Now, there are a lot of networks that do not have a big name. The feeds that are presently supported are a collection of different kinds of entertainment, TWiT, RNC Evening Coverage, Pursuit Channel, One America New Network, One World Sports, Nusic TV, NewsMax, NASA TVm Heroes TV, France24, Film Box ArtHouse, Lightbox, Fast & Fun Box, Clubbing TV etc.

Even though the app is seen in the beta version, however there seems to be a few bugs especially in regards to the interface. However it seems to be that the streaming service is very smooth and when tested, it was buffer and lag free. The concept that BitTorrant has come up with seems to be very interesting concept. They have managed to take the pirating associated technology and use it in a way where in it could make a better difference, this is because is helps in easing out the transition process and reduces lag.
