Apple Likely To Get Permission for Stores in India

Tim Cook the CEO of Apple was on India China tour. He met some officials in China about their expansion of business and also met the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. While on his meeting with Indian officials, Tim Cook proposed about his plan of opening official stores in the country. According to the recent sales graphs, India has shown a decent improvement.

Apple Likely To Get Permission for Stores in India

Tim Cook addressed India as the next China and discussed about the huge potential India is having within itself. According to the reports of the Bloomberg, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is yet to decide upon the decision of allowing Apple to open their stores on Indian soil. They are yet to get a go ahead from Indian government.

Though the market of India is very small for Apple however still Tim Cook sees a lot of potential here. The average number of people living in India belongs to middle income group distribution. The rising and huge population of India may bring a enormous future for the company. The demand for Apple iPhones and other products has already started building up here. Much recently a lot of people have started showing interest within Apple.

Any company looking to open a business store in India should have at least sourced 30% of their products. It is currently not possible for the company, Apple has failed here to meet the requirements of the government. It is largely expected that the way of the Apple will be cleared off by Indian Prime Minister. The cabinet will be likely approving the requirements for giving Apple a 3 year exemption from the official requirements.

Similar grants are also expected to be given to Xiaomi. They are also expected to be setting up their official stores here for direct business with the consumer.
