The iMessages was recently opened by Apple along with Maps and Siri with the iOS 10 SDK beta version. Apart from the comprehensive widgets, there are also rich notifications that have been introduced on the widgets that are there in the iOS10. Much to the likes of Facebook and Slack which presently dominate the world of bots, Apple is yet to join in.
