With these fresh inclusions, some old features are also getting a makeover.

The first improvisation is that one can now scan documents through Dropbox’s mobile app. They can even grab hold of and put in order various scans from sketches, receipts and whiteboards. This makes the accessibility easy and instant. Moreover, people using Dropbox Business can search within their scans. Another feature is that now the users can create Microsoft Office docs – Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word on their mobile. Just the new plus button needs to be clicked in order to create these and these will be automatically saved in the Dropbox.

Changes made to the existing features

Dropbox has changed its camera upload features. If anyone has a Basic account for free, needs to install the desktop app of Dropbox to use camera upload tools on their mobile. Apart from this, the only option to avail this feature is by upgrading to Dropbox Pro. Or else bid farewell!

The view behind this work was to provide the users with more space to store and transfer their stuffs which is possible when a computer gets attached to the account. The other improvements were that the users of Mac can now directly share folder or files just by a right click from the finder and can also add comments where needed. Version History will let the users to revisit and store older files.
