OLED Display for Upcoming iPhone 7

Apple is gearing up for the launch of the Apple iPhone 7. The phone is all set to be hitting the phone in September and Tim Cook seems to be very excited for the same. He is expecting a good response from the market. Apple promises iPhone 7 to be the best of all. Tim Cook foresees a higher demand of the iPhone 7 in the market therefore he is adding more vendors for their supplier. Apple has switched to OLED screen panels from LCD screens for iPhone 7. The company expects to raise the life of the battery and serve high quality display with the OLED screens.

Tim expects to be shipping at least 2 million units of the iPhone in first 2 months. Apple is trying to catch up the pace by adding more number of vendors for the display units of the iPhone. Currently Samsung and LG are the major importers of the b however before 2018. Apple is also adding Sharp for OLED screen production as reported by Nikkei. The plan of the Apple is not clear that if they are switching to the OLED screen completely or it is just an experiment shared by the company. Last year Apple played huge losses after the launch of the iPhone 6 in the market. It has never happened earlier with the company. Probably after a close decade Apple faced such a huge loss in the market.

With the launch of the Apple iPhone 7, Tim wants to try every measure to proactively sell their iPhone. The company has already resolved the storage issues by giving internal weight age to the storage till 256GB. The company is likely playing with small yet very powerful changes now to make their devices more likeable and sellable in the consumer’s market.
