Netflix Shares Plans on Offline Content View

Dan Taitz, the COO of the video downloading technology Penthera says he is expecting something on similar product from the company. Netflix have not widely spoken about their plans on the offline content feature. They choose to remain quite till something builds up for them.

The company says they are widely focusing on the ways to improve the quality of the online streaming for the viewers and at the same time they would like to add something new to their product for their paid subscribers. The company stayed negative about offline viewing options for the paid subscribers however CEO Reed Hastings spoke with the company officials in May and said that they should be more open‐minded towards ideas. Closing the doors towards innovation will definitely shut down their growth opportunities too. Reed is more interested in  finding viable options for the company growth. Some of the major companies in the business Like Google’s YouTube, Amazon and Apple iTunes are already offering offline view support to their users. A user who is looking to travel across various destinations may easily access the offline videos till the cache remains undeleted in their device.

The service could be a lot helpful for the people who do not get enough time to sit and stream movies, songs or any other video in their device. The company needs to chalk out a working plan for the users now.
