Apple Officially Closes ThunderBolt Display

According to the early reports of the Apple, the company was planning to launch their new Thunderbolt Display with an in built GPU for replacing the latest Thunderbolt display. According to the latest reports of the company published in TechCrunch, Apple seems to have be discontinuing their Thunderbolt Display.

One of the official spokesperson of Apple explained that the Thunderbolt Display of Apple computers will only be available in the online stores of the Apple till the stocks lasts. Once the stock is over, it shall not be ever replenished by the company. There is a number of the reason why the company wants to discontinue with it. One of the reasons was the pricing of the display. The Thunderbolt Display of the Apple company come with the resolution of 2560×1440 however the iMac 5k display which is $800 more costly includes a computer inside.

Apple has already stopped the supply of the Thunderbolt display last month, rather the company is planning to launch their new display with 5k resolution for the users, and it shall also be carrying the built in GPU along with the USB C port. The new 5k display over the Thunderbolt may be featured by the company this fall and may carry the name tag of “Apple 5K Display.” Apple has not clarified yet when the display will be launched. The timings are not clear as such about the dates for the launch.

Apple is rushing fast to launch their 5K display in the market, It is not clear how sooner or later the display will be available in market after all tests competed for usage. There has been no news confirmed from the officials at the end of the Apple too regarding the launch of the 5K display in the market for the users.
