The company also expects to be selling at least 2 million Apple second generation watches with the phones in month of September.

KGI estimates the total sales of the Apple watches at lesser than 7.5 million this year and Apple is trying to produce at least 2 million. It is estimated that by 2020 Apple would be taking at least 40 percent of the sales of the market for the Apple watches. The margin of error for Apple is too small this time. They have faced huge loss in the market last time with Apple iPhone 6. It was a huge setback for them. They cannot afford any other costly mistake this time. Tim Cook is looking to fill the gaps left after last year’s release. A lot of investors were not happy from Apple’s performance however the company assures to keep them happy this time.
