Ericsson Finds a Gap of Trust in Wearable Product Industry

In one of the recent surveys done by Ericsson for the new users using the smart watches, it has been widely found that that the wearable market has failed to meet the expectations. The survey states that the users of about 10 percent of the wearable devices have been abandoned by their users itself. In an The online survey conducted by the company for about 5000 smartphone users between 15 to age 65 in United States.

It was widely found that the abandoned devices were scrapped by the users because they were too limited in functionality. The emphasis was too widely on the health apps. Another problem which was detected is that all the wearable devices were too limited in their functionality. None of them could be paired with a Bluetooth connection. All of them are running on internet. Nearly 9 percent of the people have quit their devices because of the battery drainage followed by 8 percent who gave up on it because of the inaccurate data being read by the device.

There have been a lot of serious implications detected on the devices causing a serious threat of device dump by their users. The smartwatch industry picked up really well however it could not sustain their users due to n number of issues and concerns being raised by their consumers. The industry has a bright future however they need to invest a lot of their time in the research of the right device for the users.

The company needs to guardian the concerns sincerely. Samsung says the wearable device have a bright future. They are literally expected to boom in the market by 2020. The available window of the 4 years is to find and repair the missing and the broken links between the company’s delivery and the expectations of the consumers.
