It is said that the particular consignment which was shipped out was for the MacBook 13″. It is also believed that the upcoming MacBook may be revamped with the MacBook Pro 13″ due to which the MiM hinges are being used. The technique of using the Metal injection molding is to create intricate and small parts of metal. There have been rumors stating that Apple plans to use hinges which are crafted in such a way that they save space. This is because the MacBook Pro models of the next gen are believed to be ultra thin.

It was also suggested in the same report that for the MacBook models of 15″, Jarllytec will start shipping the hinges at this third quarter of this year. This will also raise the possibility that Apple has plans to come out with the MacBook Pro’s redesign and will introduce the 13″ models first and later on follow it with the 15″ model.

If the hinges for the MacBook Pro 13″ is already in the hands of Apple, then in the upcoming months, then it can be expected, that they have plans to debut the model anytime soon. This  could also support the notion that the MacBook production has already started. The official announcement on this front is yet to be made by the company. Until then, the rumors that are being heard is said to be very confusing about both the upcoming machines.
