Apple Targeting Small Towns in India to Take Their Mac Computers

By the looks of it, it seems to be that India is being pulled roughly by Apple. The tech hulk is planning to target a few smaller towns by taking their Mac computers with the help of wiring stores for the community while the country has managed to earn its spot for Mac’s marketplace on the top 10 list.

The growth was pronounced by two people and by the looks of it, the organizations which is based in California may just deposited a little more mechanism business with a personal touch as well as double the stretch of placement from the 75 cities over the next two or three years. This may be done through various cell phone and wiring stores or even tiny computers.

Until recently, the way Mac was sold in the country was through a franchisee, big selling companies like Reliance Digital and Croma or even on marketplaces online. One of the people even went ahead and said that in the consumer PC segment of India, the share that Apple has is around 8‐9%, this is just one of the very few markets where the company holds such a share.

Over a few years, it is believed that the business for Mac may just go ahead and flourish. During the recent visit to India, Tim Cook, the CEO of the company had addressed his group that was located in India about the various plans he had in mind, The preference of Apple as per what has been pronounced by analysts state that they also have plans to be a part of the marketing and participation of the products and also be a part of the MacBook Pro launch.

Vishal Tripathi, an investigative executive at Gartner stated that the shipment for Mac on the year on year percentage is around 50%. IDC which is a market tracker stated that presently Apple is in the lead in India in the computer segment that is $1,000 plus. During the quarter between Jan and March, the market share that Apple had was 32.7%; it was ahead of HP that had a market share of 29.1% while at 17.1% Dell held its grounds.
