iTunes U for iOS Can Now add Materials from iCloud, Google Drive, Dropbox, & More

The iTunes U app is a service that has been developed by apple which helps students and instructors in various ways. With the help of various iPhone and iPad devices, users can gain access not only to materials however also to various lessons. The iTunes U app’s update has recently been released for iPad and iPhone users. There is a document picker that has been added in the iTunes U latest version.

This also has the support for cloud services like Box, Google Drive, Dropbox, iCloud Drive etc. The new update allows a user to add documents from a service that is not of iCloud and requires the person to be signed in as well as installing the app. There are various other features that have been included with the iTunes U apart from the latest document picker. These features are on the educational front so that the integration that is closer to the Classroom app that had been launched by Apple recently.

The release notes by Apple lets you know what has been added in the new version 3.3

· From the Apple School Manager, the Managed Class Rosters can be imported.

· From the Classroom Apple, there are specific courses that can be used by students through iTunes U, the new version helps to provide the necessary guidance so that they can use it.

· Materials can be added from different document providers such as Dropbox, Google Drive, iCloud Drive etc.

· The different projects files which are noted can be used by students of they want to explain or give out different kinds files as hand‐ins or course materials.
