Reasons the Wrong Version is Played by the iCloud Music Library

There are times when we may face a lot of problems with the services of iTunes, there will also be various kinds of solutions that will be offered, and there are also times when you can get a workaround especially if there is nothing else that can be done. There are also times when the fix can only be provided by the company.

Reasons the Wrong Version is Played by the iCloud Music Library

Well there can be times that you select a particular song however the track that is being played is something that you have not selected. There are two reasons why this can happen, firstly is due to the fact that in your iTunes library, there is a live album and that is played on the iPhone by you. Instead of the particular track that you have selected you get to hear the various versions such as the studio ones that come along with it. Another time is when you have songs that have lyrics which are explicit however the one’s that you get to hear is the version which is clean.

This is something that can happen a lot of times. As per Susie Ochs, an editor with Macworld, this is something that was happening a lot last year with the songs that were present in her library. Even Jason Snell the former editor of Macworld was also facing the same problem even though the track was not a Phish one. The reason this can happen is due to the fact that even though it may be in your iCloud music library, however that particular song may not match with iTunes. ICloud goes and head and matches the track based on details like the track’s name, the album or even the artist, however, iTunes ensures that it gets the right track version by using the acoustic fingerprinting.
