It was announced by Microsoft that the latest Android Wear version of its calendar and Outlook mail app. This is just not restricted to checking your schedule however even your emails can be checked just by tapping you wrist. This Outlook version that has been designed by Microsoft is said to be a watch face.

The features that would be included would be interaction with messages, seeing inbox notifications, glance the daily events and various other things that can be done from the default screen of your smart watch. Outlook was first brought by Microsoft with the version for Apple watch last August. There are limitations to the tailored software of the watch OS however the benefit of certain screens real estate and Apple Watch features is something that cannot be taken by the company. This is due to the fact that the Apple Watch is something that will always be on the face font and not just the app for the smart watch. The watch face of Outlook also gives you an idea of the ultimate plans that Microsoft has when it comes to the productivity app. Over the last two years, Wunderlist the to‐do list app, Sunrise‐ the calendar app and Acompli the email app has been acquired by the company. While Sunrise and Wunderlist are slowly being merged into Outlook, it is said that the new mobile Outlook is said to be Acompli. In October, it was announced by Microsoft that they have plans to shut down the Sunrise app. It seems to be that in regards to Outlook, there are some grand plans that are in store by Microsoft. This new watch face on android Wear shows how software can be taken a lot above the desktop and how useful it can be.
