Buyers are frustrated with the Surface Book Laptop of Microsoft; this pricy laptop has been having shutdowns and crashes. There have also been issues of overheating that have been reported. Apart from that another issue that had been reported was the Sleep of Death. This is problem where the machine does not respond while they are in sleep mode.

As per users, the problem is not being addressed by Microsoft. The premium priced Surface Book is said to be a laptop that is more conventional and has a screen which is detachable. It was introduced by Microsoft last year along with the Surface Pro 4 which is said to be the 4th edition of table orientation. As per Addison Snell who is Intersect360 Research’s chief executive had also stated about his experience with the Surface Book. He paid more than $4,000 for the top line laptop and till now has not been given any solution and even the replacement or return of the defective machine has been refused.

He went on to day that if the system is on the sleep more for a long time, there are chances that is does not wake up. System crashes usually are the lust if the sleep periods are for a long time say like an overnight. Almost on a daily basis, his day starts by bringing his Surface Book back from the full shutdown that is unplanned. While he was finding a solution, three months down the line it was discovered by him that the name given to this problem is the Sleep of Death. He also got to know that there were various complaints pertaining to this issue and even the Support site of Microsoft retuned around 7500 results during the Surface Sleep of Death search results. Even when Apple’s iPad Pro line had debuted, a similar situation was being faced by the users who were having problems getting their machines to shut down. The issue had been death with by the company by releasing an update which fixed the problem.
