Apple’s SDK to Feature in Apple TV

A new report has surfaced this week claiming that Apple’s long awaited Siri SDK could be a part of the Apple’s worldwide developer’s conference. Apple is expected to be adding similar speakers like Amazon Echo or Google Home to Siri in the Apple TV. Apple is making some changes to resolve their hardware requirements. Apple is planning to turn the Apple TV in the hub of everything.

Apple TV doesn’t possess the obvious location for dedicated Siri speakers. The Apple TV users hide the Apple TV behind the television, inside the wall unit cabinet. There is a lot to be done for resolving the various hardware and software constraints for making the Apple TV into the “hub of everything”. The biggest challenge with the Apple TV is the voice recognition. How is the device going to recognize the voice of the human under the noise of the fan or other outputs?

The Apple TV could turn up an awkward device if the location of the microphone is far‐field. If the Apple TV has been connected with a HDMI then its sound will be regulated to route the entertainment. Launching a stand‐alone device for the Apple means chasing more margins for the company. Recently anyways the company has seen a year on year drop in the sales for 18% and 19%, respectively. Is this a pure strategy of the Apple to cover up the losses made by the company?

Apple has seen much wider losses in the Q2 of the company. Apple is trying to bring a lot of improvement this year for them. They are widely expected to revamp everything to bring about freshness in the scale of fitness for their users. A lot of wide array of developments expected this year by the company for their internal apps and operating system.
