Review: Audio‐Technica ATH‐M50x Headphones

The noise cancellation headphone launched by the company is their mainstream product and is double up the price of the 50X headphones. Let us quickly access the headphones on all the parameters and check if they are really worthwhile buying?

Sound quality

The sound quality of the headphone is subtle and very clear. To test the sound quality of the headphones couple of tracks were played and it came up with a good response. People who are heavy bass fans may be slightly disappointed with the performance here.

Comfort & Build quality

The built is sleek and very stylish. The cups of the headphone have memory foams which gives it a decent fit onto the ears. The built and quality of the headphones is up to the mark and is able to match the design expectation as well. It is undoubtedly noticeable.

Noise Cancellation

The noise cancellation feature should have been ideally able to kill all the outside noise however it is not same as the company promises. It is able to suppress most of the noise however it does not suppress them all. You may still be able to feel the outside noise is knocking inside your ears slightly.

Accessories:

There are couples of detachable cables present with the headphone with a remote as well. The headphone battery can be easily charged with the USB cable present in the leather vase of the headphones. It can be easily packed and wrapped in the same case while travelling outside. The headphone is a good choice for someone who is looking for headphones with optimum utility for his resources.
