India May Soon Get Apple Retail Stores

Finally after the visit of the CEO of Apple, Tim Cook in India this is the first good news for Indian people. A new report has confirmed that Apple will be opening retail stores in India. After the Apple Worldwide developer’s conference, Apple planned to open their stores in San Francisco.

The brand new store in San Francisco has been completely set up and now it’s time for 3 new stores in metroPolitan stores in India too. Tim Cook observed a growth in the Indian market. There has been a drastic increase in the demand of the handsets in India. He also observed that people have started switching from Android to iOS drastically. As if now there is no retail presence of the company in India and this is one of the probable reason why they have planned to set up at least 3 stores in next 18 months of time in India.

Till now Apple was only functional in USA and other parts of the world. They could not figure out the exact demand in India. India was always the least favorable destinations for Apple however the recent shift in the demand has given Apple new horizon. Tim recently met Indian Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi for talking over selling old Apple handsets in India. Apple has been planning to sell refurbished phones in India. According to an estimate, the average handset used in India is worth Rs.10, 000. He came with an escape plan of selling old refurbished handsets in India though his plan was not approved. Call this one of the smartest strategies of Apple to unveil the sales from the users. Apple has started branding their products in Indian market too as they remarkably see a lot of potential in the buying capacity of the people.
