Walmart Not Supporting Apple Pay Services

Walmart is one of the top notch stores resisting to the services of the Apple pay. Walmart is the biggest retail store across United States and they hold the supremacy in market. They are pretty much stubborn towards partnering with Apple pay for digital payments, reason being they have already pushed their own app in the market. In the latest update of the Walmart store app, digital payments have also been included in their services for their consumers.

Walmart Not Supporting Apple Pay Services

Walmart has also officially announced that their app shall be supporting at least 500 stores across2 states with the services of their digital payments. They are slowly pushing their digital payment services across all their stores. The retail giant began with its services of digital payments across 100 locations in Walmart stores home, Arkansas and 480 retail stores in Texas. The theory behind the app is very simple. The app is connected with a card at its back so the user is not required to carry his/her debit card everywhere. Walmart pay is based on the same working way of the iOS pay services made by Apple. The user also gets the option of getting digital receipt on their devices.

Walmart pay service also support pre‐paid cards and gift cards for digital payments. The app is so far so good however there is one thing where Apple completely blows away which the backend security for the users is. The app experience of the Apple is much faster and secure than the Walmart pay. Apple device uses NFC digital service while making digital payments for the transactions. Apple’s services are easier to access than the Walmart smart pay for the consumer. Walmart is adding more functionality to make their digital payments app much more accessible for the users. They expect to make it available for all the users sooner.
