The new music recognition feature in SoundHound can be easily activated by saying OkHound on hands free mode. The app is also integrated with some of the other Apple services like Apple Music, Spotify, Pandora, etc. The new feature added to the SoundHound is just not limited with detecting music.

The app can be also used to call the signature feature of the device by saying “OK Hound, what song is playing?” These features are only limited with Apple Music. The app can also be used to be playing certain specific tracks, Look up for certain tracks by some specific artists and also show your search history using the OKHound command. The only tricky part with the SoundHound voice command feature is that the app needs to be launched first however the Siri feature with Apple can be activated by saying Hey Siri without even touching the device once. The SoundHound voice recognition feature worked like a charm. It is fast and reliable at the same time.

The company is working towards refining the feature which has been added to the app. The new feature added app is available for free to all the iOS users. The best part of the app is its super quick sound recognition. It can easily detect the music and search through its library for putting up the results in front for the user. There is one small additional hiccup with the app which is if the OkHound feature is used while playing the video then it will be paused while showing the result to the users. This is one of the issues which shall be taken care of very soon by the app developers.
