Apple to Closedown Music Services in Couple of Years

A report says that Apple will be stopping their music sales permanently in next couple of years for their consumers. Nearly a year ago Apple was making good money in their own business of music streaming however the situation has permanently changed for the company now.

Apple to Closedown Music Services in Couple of Years

They are not able to make any good money in the same business with everything remaining constant. Apple’s rep Tom Neumayr says that he is not sure on the tenure Apple would require to shut down the business of the music streaming. He has also not confirmed that Apple will be certainly doing this. It is one of proposed plans of the Apple about which they may think.

With so much of competition in the market one of the obvious challenges in front of the Apple is music renting. Why would someone rent music from their channel when they may directly buy form so many on demand available services? There are many music libraries available in the market today who are readily selling music at very cheap rates to the people. Digital music business is getting completely unrealistic now. Earlier due to lesser options available in the market people used to happily rent the music from Apple however now due to abundance of music streaming channels it is quite difficult to sell the idea of renting music when downloads are cheaper and available on demand for the people at the same time.

The industry is scaling up daily with new idea flowing across the borders of the business. The competition is much stiffer than before and people will certainly be choosy than before due to higher volume of cheaper variants available for the people. Apple will have to evolve or dissolve their music business.
