As per his reports, Android presently commands more than 80% of the global market in operating system. In the United States of America, its market saturation is just a little under 60%. On the other hand, there are places in the US which  has markets only for the iPhone, but still, the overall market goes to android.

It has been speculated by tech critics that by the end of five years, the world will be engulfed by android and everyone will be opting for an android OS over any other.
