Apple’s Split Feature on i Pads Reportedly Increases Time on Video Viewership

Earlier people could only do one thing at a time which was not letting them to work freely. People either used to take a gap for watching the live match and then working or they used to work and leave the live match aside however the issue has been well taken care off by Apple now with their new device feature. With the feature being launched with Apple, MLB was first one to take the advantage. They quickly launched their app for watching the live matches on their IOS device known as the Bat I pad app. Right in the first 2 weeks of the season,MLB found a 20 percent increase in viewership of the live videos. The latest split screen feature allowing 2 apps to run simultaneously has allowed a huge bump in viewership of Apple. The feature has been recently been added by Apple and was unveiled last September in a developers conference by the tech giant Apple.

MLB Tv reported that viewers with paid subscription have started watching videos up to 162 minutes which is nearly 86 percent higher than the last year. Without the split viewership the average video viewership stands at 101 minutes per user. The company is expecting a year on year growth now.
