Blackberry ends BB 10 Operating System, Will Be Launching Mid‐Range Android Phones In Market Soon

Not good news for all the Blackberry lovers. You may be shocked to find that BB (Black Berry) has ended their BB10 operating system. Over a long time BlackBerry has been talking about their plan of landing over Android which controls nearly the 80 percent of the market size. Due to the higher degree of flexibility of Android, they have been able to touch the level of user’s interest. There are other OS (operating system) in the market too however none of them is as good and flexible as Android. BlackBerry being one of them could not offer much to the users market.

They had little lesser than a percent of the whole phone market which was not growing any further. Finally Blackberry has decided to end their much awaited gamble. They are now launching their fresh segment of phones on Android platform. Rather than working on costly higher end phones Blackberry will be working upon lower and mid‐level phones for the middle budget people. The phone market has evolved a lot. There are a lot of consumers in phone market and lot of companies too. For all companies selling their mobile phones it is important for them to decide and define their target market.

Blackberry persistently tried to upscale its market and bring and add a lot of new people to their branch however could not do much about it. They had tied hands due to limited charm for their BB OS in the market. People were hungry for Android platform based devices. Finally after a lot of speculations they are coming over with their new segment of mobile phones which will be lesser priced and completely based on Android platforms. The company expects to boost sales with their new move towards a new generation of devices.
