Split View Name Drags Apple In Court For Copyright Act

Split view was a feature supported by Apple in IOS 9 and above for helping the users and multi takers perform multiple tasks at one time. The core intention was to give them an additional window from where they may choose their alternate task and begin working on it side by however things seems to be bit different here. In a recent court order by Delhi high court, apple has been asked to remove Split View (Without) space wherever they have used it as one of the company claims to have the copyright against the name. They have said to be the claim owners behind the name and have asked Apple not to be using their name anywhere public without asking them or confronting their agreement for the same.

A claim about copyright claim on Apple may not be certainly new for them. They have been in a habit of fighting cases on daily basis. The Split View window was launched by Apple in 2006 as they wanted a separate window for multi taskers however now they should be waiting for the court hearing with their final verdict. The final decision is still pending and is expected to be ruled out in May till then Apple is waiting for their decision. If the decision comes in their favor, they will keep moving as they have been doing however if not then things will have to be modified a bit and a fresh strategy will have to be impounded for the copy right name claim against the company. Though these kinds of incidents are a part of Apple’s daily business journey now. They do not pay much attention to such claims however they handle it very tactfully without taking law in their own hands.
