No More Updates! Disney Is Done With Infinity 3.0, Wants To Focus On New Games

Apple TV has changed and so has the games. This new Apple TV takes viewers to a different dimension and people just love it. Disney joined the party and introduced – “Infinity 3.0”. The theme of the bundle was superb, a treat for Star Wars fans. The controller looked sturdy and the infinity base was perfectly designed. The company wanted users to download this amazing game and experience the gameplay in Apple TV. The reactions were lukewarm and Disney got discouraged. Bad news for gamers because updates are not coming any time soon and that’s disheartening. Well Disney never marketed it properly and no hype was created.

Some users reported problems and Disney representatives solved the matter instantly. But without upgradation, the game becomes practically useless. Bug fixes will also be not released and the problem is with the platform. Games for Apple TV are designed differently, so Infinity never really looked a real competitor. Developers have stopped planning and their current plans are totally different. Others platforms are more important to them and they are working hard to improve the gaming experience on those platforms. As gaming in Apple TV becomes popular, their plans may change accordingly. The revenue also becomes vital here as people are less likely to play games here.

Disney seemed impatient as four months is a very short period. They did their research beforehand and problems with this version are not unknown to them. The users who already made up their mind to give it a try are now completely frustrated. This will affect Disney’s brand image and they have some serious planning to do. The real reasons will never come out but the user base is a major factor here. Apple even promoted Infinity 3.0, but that becomes useless now. The gaming struggle needs to be addressed by Apple; otherwise other companies will beat them in this sector.
