Apple Pay Success In Chinese Market

Apple Pay had recently touched the Chinese Market, and there were a lot of speculations as to how well the service would do considering the different challenges that the service had in store. Well it seems that service has already made its mark in the Chinese market, Apple Pay has already become a hit, two days after its launch, there number of bank cards that was activated as per the reports showed three million. It is said that the numbers are going to go up as and when the service rolls out gradually.

Apple Pay Success In Chinese Market

As per the reports it said that after the launch on Feb 18th, 2016, around 3 million customers had their bank cards linked t the service. This information was provided by The China Merchants Bank, this one of the 19 banks in China that is involved with the service. The numbers seem to be really impressive, however with Union at the card processing company already having its own card processing monopoly, this means that the single deal which was made by Apple is available for 5 Billion cards, It is also been said that the company has been persuading banks so that they can sign up. In order to do this, the company is also willing to take a reduced cut on the fees that is charged for every transaction in comparison to what it charges for the US Banks. Jennifer Bailey who is Apple Pay VO is very happy to see the numbers. She stated that she would then rate their performance for the 1st day out of 100 would be 1,000.

On the other hand, in US it is said that Apple Pay will soon be accepted by an American Apparel fashion chain shortly. While the date has not been mentioned yet, however there are plans that are on the pipeline to introduce the new terminals for payments.
