IPhone 4″ Hitting The Markets This Year And Price Cut For iPhone 5s By 50%

Ming‐Chi Kuo an Analyst with KGI Securities had recently issued a note pertaining to the research he had made. In this there are claims that the Apple’s iPhone 4″ which is the next gen is said to have a 12 MP camera at the rear instead of the 8MP that was previously told. It is also said that the hardware specs of the new iPhone 4″ is said to have hardware specs which is similar to the iPhone 6s. This includes the NFC for the Apple Pay feature as well as the A9 chip.

Even the form factor of the device is said to be very similar to that of the iPhone 5s even though the display will have a 2.5D slightly curved glass. This is similar to what you can see with the iPhone 6 and latest versions.

It is also said that cost for the phone in United States is said to be anywhere close to $400 and $500 range. With the price point being on the lower end, it can help the company target the segments of the mid ‐low price and also help to increase the company sales of iPhones in markets like India and China which are emerging right now.

As per the company, KGI Securities also expects that the overall shipment for iPhones this year is said to grow to 131% with an overall of 37 million in its being shipped in this year. Another thing that is believed is the fact that the launch of the iPhone 4″ is said to be the strength while the iPhone 5s price is cut by 50%. The present price for the iPhone 5s is $450 in the retail market, with this cut, it is said that now the price will come down to $225 as per the decision of cutting the cost down by 50%.
