Steve stated repeatedly and in simple English that when people signed up for it, they knew what Privacy meant. The comments were made after Google and the ascending Android OS was identified as the main competitors. In this we get to see the initial signs of the privacy position deployed b the hardware seller. This was done as a competitive tactic and branding which was a strategy that has also been the reason why there is a present tiff with the Feds.

Jobs states that people of the Valley thought that the company is old fashioned in this front, many be the company is. The whole thing was discussed and spoken about the importance of this front during the D8 conference that was held in 2010. In simple words, for Apple, Privacy has always been technology’s core point. While the importance could be seen yesterday when the founders were heading the company, the same is followed even today with the present leaders of the company.
