Apple iPhone 5se Has Two Suppliers

A popular blog site dedicated to Apple related new called 9To5Mac recently published reports stating that Apple has plans of releasing the latest addition to the Apple smart phone family this coming March. The actual release date for the new iPhone, which is a 4 inch screen phone,  named iPhone 5se, is 18th March, 2016. According to the post, the main production unit of the iPhone 5se, as usual, is Foxconn productions, but that is not the end of it. According to another such web site called Digitimes, Apple has added another supplier in the mix, Wistron.

Apple iPhone 5se Has Two Suppliers

Although the post has gone public on Digitimes, Wistron has still not confirmed anything about the speculated iPhone 5se production and has still kept confirmations a secret. On the other hand, Digitimes has gone on into saying that Apple has actually hired Wistron as their additional production company and that Apple is presently hiring multiple production units to overcome the problem they might face in the supply channel from any of the production units. Moreover, this new strategy of Apple is rumored to continue even for the release of the new iPhone 7, which is expected later this year.

According to reports, at present, Apple is looking to hire at least two different manufacturing units to take the responsibility of making a single size of iPhone. The iPhone 7, which is speculated to be 4.7 inches, is known to have production handled by Foxconn and Pegatron.

This new strategy Apple has adopted is sure to work wonderfully for Apple. With this strategy, both the companies producing a single type or size of item will have some rivalry within them. This will not only be good for the average number of devices being manufactured and assembled by both the companies, but will also push the respective production units to produce the best quality in order to overtake the other company. Moreover, with two companies simultaneously supplying Apple with the same devices, the chances of supply related problems rising are quite low.
