This not only a win for Future, but also a big step forward for Apple Music. Since the time Apple Music made its debut with the streaming service via subscription, this is the second exclusive album that has risen to the top of the list. Moreover, both the albums came from the same superstar, Future.

According to the statement provided by Jimmy Iovine, a high ranking executive of Apple, for The New York Times paper, Apple Music is one of the best platforms and if any label, or artist is willing and able to use it wisely and properly, it will bring in extraordinary results.

In the present scenario, with the advent of digital age, timely agreements with top artists for exclusive digital streaming of their work are becoming quite a war zone. The latest release from the famous rapper, Kanye West, an album named “The Life Of Pablo” was taken exclusively by Tidal. Moreover, since Kanye is a co‐owner of Tidal, it is quite logical that he will use only Tidal to launch his newest albums for digital streaming.

On the other hand, Future is getting a lot of perks after signing in with Apple. Apple had done a lot of promotion for this exclusive album, and finally pulling it to the top of the charts.
