The recent reports regarding iAd network says that the company is also closing down the free iRadio. The radio feature will be stopped from February and users of the service must pay in order to continue listening to the iRadio.
The only free listening option on the radio will be the Beats 1 radio station, for listening to others one will have to subscribe on the Apple Music services, The iTunes Match feature for listening to iRadio for free is also being scrapped. On last Monday a reporter named John Paczkowski stated that Apple was moving towards the removal of the Apple iAd network sales team so as to convert to a better and an automated system. Apple had announced the stop to the inh-house advertising platform, the iAd App Network.
